PRN has been in business since 1974 and is locally owned and operated. It was founded by two nurses, both well established in the Atlanta community. Mrs. Eileen M. Corrigan, RN and Mrs. Martha H. Blackwell, RN, left their hospital careers to open a much needed nursing referral agency serving the Atlanta community.

Mrs. Corrigan received her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Atlanta. She served as the Director of Nursing at a long-term facility in Atlanta and as a private duty nurse in many local hospitals. Mrs. Corrigan continued as owner and Administrator until her death in 2013. Mrs. Corrigan remained very active in the Atlanta community and left behind 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

PRN is dedicated to referring nurses who will give quality, confidential care in a professional manner.

Mrs. Blackwell received her nursing degree from Emory University and worked many clinical areas in local hospitals until she and Mrs. Corrigan opened PRN in 1974. Mrs. Blackwell retired from PRN in 2001 and lives with her husband Bernard in the Atlanta area.

Today, Mrs. Corrigan’s daughter, Eileen C. Jones MSHCM, BSN, RN is the Managing Director of PRN. Eileen joined PRN in 1997, became Assistant to the Administrator in 2001 and is now responsible for all operations for PRN. She received her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from Emory University and her MSHCM (Master of Science in Health Care Management) from Mercer University. Eileen’s background in nursing includes; Orthopedic Nursing at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana, Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, Occupational Health Nursing at Delta Air Lines and Kimberly- Clarke Corporation, Camp Nursing in North Carolina and Home Nursing at PRN.
